Kurschatten follows an inner journey, a descent into the unconscious and an attempt to find a way back.

In the middle of applause, Emma’s voice suddenly fails. With it, the carefully constructed life she has built begins to unravel. Contracts dissolve, friendships crack and every piece of advice starts to feel like judgment.

When medicine no longer offers answers, Emma turns to a different path, less method than leap of faith: a shamanic trance that brings her to the edge of what can be grasped. In this in-between space, memories surface, shadows take shape and the boundary between body and image begins to blur.
